In Argentina, the market of cosmetic, toiletry and perfumes is going through a sustained period of growth within the local economy.

This involves an exponential increase of the sales both in the local market as in the exporter sector because the products that the industry offered are the most required according to the consumers´ preferences.

Therefore, the cosmetic and perfume industry exhibit positive numbers and stands out as one of the most successful sector with huge prospects of improvements for the next two years. Products with the highest exporting rate of the cosmetic area in the country are deodorants, with u$s 35.6 million, hair dyes, with u$s 6.9 million, shampoos with 4.2 million and shade-eyeliners, u$s 2.6 million. 

Argentina has between 400 and 450 companies that manufacture or commercialize products – between 25% and 30% would be outsourcing providers- employ around 5,000 people. 

Nowadays, in our country there is a group of companies associated to CAPA, Argentine Chamber of the Cosmetics and Perfume Industry, with a high innovative capacity that provides tools, raw materials and highly qualified professionals so Argentina can turn into a south American power in the exportation of cosmetic products.
